BREAKING: Osibanjo Signs N7.441 Trillion 2017 Budget Into Law (VIDEO)

Nigeria’s Acting President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo on Monday signed the 2017 budget of N7.441 trillion into law. This puts to rest speculations that Osinbajo might have been delaying the signing of the budget to wait for Buhari’s return.

Recall that the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, disclosed  in a two-paragraph statement on Monday that Buhari had directed Osinbajo to go ahead and sign the 2017 Appropriation Bill into law.

The signing of the 2017 Appropriation Bill into law, comes over threes weeks after it was passed by the National Assembly.

The announcement was made by the Personal Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on New Media, Engagement Unit, Bashir Ahmad, on Monday.
Ahmad, took to his twitter handle, wrote: “Acting President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo has signed the #Budget2017 into law at exactly 4:42 PM in his office at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.”

The acting president, Yemi Osinbajo also took to his twitter page to acknowledge that he has indeed signed the 2017 budget.
He wrote: I just signed 2017 Budget into law. It's an important milestone in our economic recovery & growth plan laid in April by President Buhari.
