#PooWatch enters 24th day as drug suspect refuses to use toilet

#PooWatch enters 24th day as drug suspect refuses to use toilet
A man arrested on the suspicion of carrying drugs has gone on toilet strike for 24 days while police wait for him to poo so as to determine if he concealed drugs on himself.

Lamarr Chambers was arrested by Essex police for being a suspected drug dealer (read here). Now officers are waiting with bated breath for him to go to the toilet. Essex Police have been keeping people updated in what is now known as #PooWatch.
So far, Chambers stil hasn't budged. He even reportedly refused to eat so he won't be pressed to poo and pass the objects.
Speaking to Metro.co.uk on Saturday, Jan 10, a spokesperson for the force said they will no longer be issuing updates. Instead, they will make one final announcement "when he does what he needs to do". The longest an inmate has gone without using the toilet is believed to be 23 days, so Chambers has now broken the British record.
Chambers has been charged with two counts of possession with intent to supply a Class A drug, failing to stop and driving without insurance.
