This was Senator Shehu Sani's reaction after the French president, Emmanuel Macron, hosted and rewarded the 22-year-old Malian immigrant, Mamoudou Gassama, who scaled an apartment building in Paris to save the life of a dangling 4-year-old (read here) yesterday May 28th.
Recall that on May 20th, residents of Gashua, Gujba Local Government Area of Yobe state apprehended a female suicide bomber who attempted to invade a mosque to carry out an attack.
The vigilante Muslims noticed her while she was struggling to detonate the suicide vest strapped to her body in the mosque. She was quickly restrained by the locals, arrested and handed over to troops at Azare.
Senator Shehu says those brave citizens are yet to be recognized for their courageous act that saved many people from been killed.
