Washing hands regularly is the single most important hygiene step in preventing the spread of infections.

As part the 2016 Global Handwashing Day activities, Dettol has launched a global campaign which aims to reach out to millions of people across 19 countries and educate them about importance of handwashing.

For every video shared, Dettol will teach a child the correct way of washing hands with soap.
Global Handwashing Day originally created for children and schools to promote habitual handwashing with soap, is now celebrated globally to raise awareness on the importance of handwashing to help prevent diarrhoea and respiratory diseases and also reduce child mortality rates by about 50%.
