Etisalat Nigeria Confirms Name Change to 9Mobile; Checkout Their New Logo

Etisalat Nigeria has officially changed its name to 9Mobile following exit from the Nigerian market.

The name change was announced on their official twitter account and via text messages sent to their numerous customers.

Following the exit of the Etisalat brand from the country, the international company had given a three week deadline to change the brand name and the new management have complied and changed the name to 9Mobile.

An insider had on Friday said the board had approved the name change, but had yet to make it official. 

The mobile network’s official Twitter account announced the change, unveiling the brand’s logo and its colours.

It said;

“Etisalat is now 9mobile. From 9ja let’s talk, to 0809ja for Life we remain committed to YOU. Here for you, Here for 9ja #9forlife #9mobile”
