The Lagos State government has restricted vehicular movement in the state on Saturday, July 22, 2017.
According to a statement by Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Steve Ayorinde, on Sunday, this is in view of the election that will hold across the 20 local governments and 37 local council development areas of the state.
The statement said the restriction of movement would be enforced between 8am and 2pm to allow for a smooth conduct of the polls.
It also quoted Governor Akinwunmi Ambode as urging Lagosians to perform their civic obligations.
