"She Fell From The Stairs" - Netherlands-based Nigerian Pastor Says And Begs After Beating Wife Into Coma (Grahic Photos/Video)

A Nigerian pastor, living in the Netherlands who beat his wife into a coma, has reacted to the story which surfaced today and subsequently went viral..

In the video making rounds on social media released by the Netherlands-based preacher, his wife’s injuries were from a fall down their stairs after she attacked him during a domestic altercation.

In case you missed it, trouble began when the Benin-born pastor returned to Netherlands after a visit to Nigeria and accused his wife of having extramarital affairs.

The altercation allegedly led to a violent attack. His wife lost consciousness and only woke up nine hours later to narrate her story.

But David Stephen is denying the claims in the video released..

He alleges that he merely was avoiding his wife during the altercation when she slipped and fell saying;

“I didn’t beat her. I cannot beat an enemy like that. I didn’t lay my physical hand on her. She fell in the stairs and [hit] her face on the ground.

How I wish I could fly ahead to save her. Truth is, I couldn’t. Why should such a thing [happen?”
