Saturday, Coal City residents, showcased their Can-do Spirit and greatness when the new Malta Guinness Maltavator Challenge train arrived Enugu for the audition to select Nigeria’s representatives for the new and
exciting Maltavator Challenge Pan African TV show.
The Polo Park Shopping Center was filled with excited consumers who came prepared to compete for a shot at representing Nigeria on the Maltavator Challenge TV show and a chance to win Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000) and other fantastic prizes.
Over 800 consumers registered to participate in the challenge and all the contestants were fueled with the goodness of Malta Guinness which is packed full of energy-giving vitamins B1, B2, B3 and B6 to turn the Malta goodness into greatness as they took on the challenge.
It was an exhilarating - once in a life time- experience for the contestants who competed in a series of physical and mental challenges on the Maltavator Obstacle course, the Gladiator Duel, the Ball Pool Treasure Hunt and the mentally tasking Maze contest. There was so much fun and excitement in the air as several games and activities were on ground for non-contestants to engage in.
The fastest and most resilient contestants, Ezeh Chidera Justine, Felix Chika, Nwachukwu Sunday, Odogboro Aghogho, and Nebo Love, who unleashed their can-do spirit, passion and optimism were crowned the Best Maltavators from Enugu. They will join finalists from other auditions to compete for the final ten (10) spots to represent Nigeria in the Maltavator Challenge TV show. Speaking at the event; the Brand Manager, Malta Guinness and Premium Non Alcoholic Drinks- Ifeoma Agu said “I am very impressed with the turn out here in Enugu city, this further reenacts the fact that Nigerians have the can do spirit, and Malta Guinness will continue to be that brand that fuels their greatness; the Maltavator challenge TV show is a platform that brings to life the brand purpose of Malta Guinness which is to fuel the can do spirit of Nigerians and I am most excited about the finalists here in Enugu who will then be pitched against the finalists from Benin and subsequently Lagos to arrive at our final ten (10) contestants to represent Nigeria in the Maltavator Challenge Pan African TV show”.

The Maltavator Challenge is a Pan African TV show which will have Forty (40) contestants from Nigeria, Ghana, Cote D’Ivoire and Ethiopia compete in mentally and physically challenging obstacle courses for a chance to win $20,000 and other fantastic prizes. Nigeria will play host to all the 40 Contestants as this Eleven Episode TV show will be shot in Nigeria and would air across 52 African TV stations from April 2018.
