Another candidate of the 2018 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), Ibukun Oduntan, has emerged ‘best candidate’ in the results released so far.
Recall that a 16 year-old JAMB candidate from Ethiope East in Delta state, Oghotomo Ogheneruno Goddowell had the highest score of 321, in the Use of English, Physics, chemistry and biology.
However, Corona Secondary school, Agbara, Ogun State on Monday called the attention of the media to their student, Ibukun Oduntan, who scored 344 in the just concluded examination, stating that its student remains the highest so far in the released results.
A statement signed by one Olaitan Anifowoshe of the school stated that, ”I would like to call your attention to the scores achieved by Corona Secondary School (CSS), Agbara, Ogun state.
”The highest score from CSS, Ibukun Oduntan is 344. Our top 4 scores are above 320. Our Top 10 scores are above 300.”
Also another candidate, from Musawa in Katsina State, Yusuf Najeeb lawal, 16, also scored 321.
Lawal whose centre was at Kaduna polytechnic scored, 69 in the Use of English, 87 in Mathematics, 93 in Physic and 72 in chemistry.
Meanwhile, Oduntan’s 344 is believed to be the highest score in the 2018 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
The 2018 UTME ended on Saturday, March 17.
