Domestic staff nearly strangles 3-year-old child left in her care

A 3-year-old was almost strangled by a domestic staff left in charge of her in Kenya.

The maid, whose name was given as

Fanice Makokha, is said to be mentally ill. She was employed two months before the attack. Thankfully, the toddler survived but she sustained injuries to her neck as a result of the domestic assault which took place on the night of Sunday, July 29, 2018.

The case has been reported to the Pangani police station and an investigation has begun.
