Tension rocked Ado Ekiti, Ekiti State as a man was killed by unidentified gunmen in broad daylight yesterday.
The man was killed on Monday evening, at about 5: 30 pm, three days after a close ally of
former Gov. Segun Oni, Mr. Bunmi Ojo was assassinated in the capital.
According to witnesses, the man was shot at a junction close to the end of the newly constructed overhead bridge at the Okesa/Ojumose Area. The victim was reportedly a passenger on a commercial motorcycle and was pursued by his assailants, who were on another motorcycle. The gunmen then ordered the operator of the commercial motorcycle conveying the victim to stop.
