Breaking: NLC suspends its warning strike
The Nigerian Labour congress has suspended its warning strike.
NLC president, Ayuba WAbba announced the suspension at a press conference in Abuja this afternoon. He said the strike is being called off because of the strong assurance the Federal government has given to look into their demand.
On Wednesday September 26th, the labor union began its 7-day warning strike to demand an upward review of minimum wage from N18, 000 to N56, 000
