The American singer, 46, appeared to be in high spirits as she made an exit from local restaurant Catch following a dinner date with pals, amongst them the handsome young dancer – whose close friendship with Mariah reportedly incensed her former fiancé.
Sporting a thigh-skimming black skirt and fishnet tights, Mariah beamed while being chaperoned to a waiting car.
As always, the superstar sported her glittering butterfly ring, but the $10 million engagement ring she was presented with by Packer in 2015 was switched to her right hand.
Despite its astronomical worth, Mariah appeared to loosely wear the valuable ring midway down her middle finger.
Meanwhile her cleavage was on display through the tightly laced-crosshatch of her plunging short black dress, while over her shoulders she slung a short pink coat.
Somewhat predictably Mariah's appearance at the restaurant prompted a throng of onlookers to gather on the sidewalk, and she fought her way past with Bryan, who walked two paces in front.
Seemingly in a chipper mood, the dancer offered a beaming grin after climbing into the rear of their waiting vehicle alongside Mariah.
The pair were later whisked off into the night following the latest in a string of public appearances following Mariah's split from Packer.
Two nights earlier, she took her entourage out to eat at celeb hotspot Nobu in Malibu - with one name on the guest list of particular interest.
Back-up dancer and choreographer Bryan - whose friendship is rumoured to have caused her wealthy fiance to become jealous - joined her for dinner, despite efforts not to be photographed together.
TMZ claimed Thursday night that 'sources connected with Mariah' had revealed the tension between Packer and Tanaka that led to a showdown last June.
The website claimed that following a loud argument between the two men, 'Packer used his casino ties to get Tanaka banned from Caesar's Palace', where the songstress has a residency.
On Saturday, TMZ reported that any rumors of a relationship with her longtime choreographer could be dispelled because Mariah is a 'traditional girl' who doesn't have sex before marriage.
Her insiders told the website that the 46-year-old singer and her now ex-fiance 'slept in separate rooms' and did not indulge in any physical activity other than kissing.
