He’s been jeered on and off ever since moving to the Bernabeu in 2009 but has felt the full wrath of the Madridistas this season – despite scoring 20 times in 25 appearances in all competitions.
After misplacing a few passes at the start of Madrid’s win over Real Sociedad on Sunday he was subjected to boos and responded by appearing to swear in the direction of his own fans.
And Casillas reckons Madrid’s fans expect too much of their team’s star man.
