A robber, who was shot on Monday morning by his colleague, has been reported dead..
According to Vanguard, the victim was hit as they exchanged gunfire with security men along the Ometan Road in Warri South Local Government Area.
The robber, who was simply identified as Obus, was killed after his group attacked and robbed a tricycle operator and his passengers.
The police rushed the injured robber to the Warri Central Hospital for treatment but he later died of his injuries.
The tricycle driver, Paul Obidi said the robbers stole his mobile phone, driver’s license and N6000.

“I started work at 6 am today (yesterday) and picked a passenger along Cemetery Road, when the robbers attacked me,”
I dey feel better pain o.’It was however not known whether the robber was shot accidentally or killed deliberately by his colleagues.
