A Nigerian Pastor, Dr. Abel Damina of the Power City International Churches, has reacted to the ongoing trend of pastors asking members to sow for blessing.
Possibly reacting to a viral video of Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo, who told his congregants to sow N1000 or $1000 for every year they have lived, Dr Abel condemned the act..
In a series of teachings, uploaded on social media by comedian Ali Baba, Abel Damina mentioned that giving is not done to be blessed but out of blessing and not for the returns of it.
He further established that an act of encouraging church members to give for multiplying effects from God is a fraud and an insult to the works of redemption and grace.
