Photos: Owerri residents mourn 10-year-old boy shot dead during market demolition

Residents of Owerri including women, youths and elders, Friday trooped out at Ugwu Ekwema, Egbu Road, Imo State capital to mourn the tragic death of 10-year-old boy, who died during the market demolition

by the state government.

Late Somtochukwu Ibeanusi was allegedly shot dead by soldiers from the 34 Artillery Brigade deployed to maintain law and order during the demolition of the OwerriMain Market, popularly known as Eke-Ukwu on August 27.
