Lupita Nyong'o, Angela Bassett, Janelle Monae and other stars dressed up to the nines at the Black Panther premiere in Los Angeles on Monday night.
Lupita looked regal in a deep plum-colored, custom-made Versace gown complete with an ornate jewel caged harness. Her co-stars Angela Bassett, 59, and Janelle Monae 32, also wore vibrant ensembles for the star-studded event.
The stars were all dressed in vibrant hues and some of their outfits were inspired by traditional African garb.
Black Panther is a film about a superhero who becomes the king of the futuristic African nation of Wakanda.
