The two men suspected of robbing Safaree Samuels' at gunpoint on Monday, have been captured after a police chase.
According to TMZ, the two men named
as Jonathan Ricketts and Shawn Harewood were arrested after cops chased them down over the George Washington Bridge, from New Jersey into New York.
It was reported that during the police chase, the suspects crashed their car and fled on foot. They were later captured about 12 blocks apart.
On Monday morning, Love & Hip Hop star, Safaree Samuels broke the sad news during a radio interview with Angie Martinez on Power 1051.
'Two dudes with guns just ran up on me. Had me face down to the floor with a gun to my head. They just took everything, 'he said nearly in tears.
According to cops, Safaree claims he was robbed of around $183,000 of cash and jewelry.
Reacting to the robbery attack, Safaree's attorney, James Leonard Jr., said: "This was not some random stick up attempt, this was an ambush specifically targeting Safaree by several men with guns. The actual facts of what happened are chilling and it is only by the grace of god that this incident did not have a different ending and for that we are extremely grateful."
