Filmmaker, Stanlee Ohikhuare narrowly avoids accident caused by stray cow in Lekki but cars behind him were not lucky

Nigerian filmmaker Stanlee Ohikhuare narrowly avoided getting into an accident when a cow strayed into the road last night in Lekki, Lagos, but some cars coming behind him were not so lucky.

Stanlee narrated the incident via his Instagram account. He said he had just passed the Lekki toll gate when he came face to face with the "seemingly mad cow galloping frantically against traffic". He was lucky to manoeuvre between the cow and a broken down truck without crashing his car. But cars coming behind him didn't have the same luck.

He wrote: "Just escaped an accident right after the toll gate in Lekki. After making the bend, I find myself face to face with a seemingly Mad Cow galloping frantically against traffic. Beside it was a broken down truck. I manged to swerve and squeeze through, between the cow and the truck, then I heard screeching and crashing sounds behind me.
It was dark so I guess it's either someone didn't see the cow and crashed into it, causing the other cars to collide behind him, or maybe the guy right after me swerved and got in the way of another vehicle traveling at top speed. It is well.
