Police Place N1m Bounty On Head Of Alleged Killer Of Onitsha Businessman

The Anambra State Police Command has declared Mr Ikechukwu Udensi, alias Ikanda wanted in connection with the murder of a businessman, Mr Ndubuisi Nwokolo.

Nwokolo was on 29th June allegedly killed by Udensi, a known thug in Onitsha, alongside his gang members for attempting to stop him from extorting money from a commercial motorcyclists, who was conveying him (Nwokolo) to his shop.


A press release by the Anambra State police command, which was signed by its spokesperson, SP Haruna Mohammed, in which it declared Udensi wanted, called on anyone who knows the whereabouts of the suspected criminal to report to the police.


Part of the relase read, “Suspect is a native of Azia in Ihiala LGA of Anambra State, dark in complexion, aged 27yrs old and about 1.73 meters tall. Anyone who provides useful information that would lead to his arrest will be Rewarded with One Million Naira (1,000,000) promised by the Anambra State Government. If seen, report to the nearest Police.
