A dad crashed his car then immediately escaped from the scene, leaving his injured son inside the wrecked car.
The father, who was driving a Ford Focus, hit a parked car, spun out of control and ended up in a hedge. Immediately this happened, the driver got out of the car and fled the scene in Airmyn, near Goole, East Yorkshire, at 8pm on the night of Saturday, September 1.
Police and ambulance crews dashed to the scene and the injured son was found inside the car. He was treated at the scene. The father was found to be under the influence of alcohol.
